Strong Libraries Make Strong Communities
We believe this and work to support the programming and community initiatives of the Greene County Public Library. The Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to secure resources to subsidize library programs, activities, and other initiatives that serve our community. Because our efforts generate resources separate from public funds, we give active citizens the opportunity to improve our community’s quality of life and create a better future.
The GCPL Foundation is a component of Greene Giving (The Greene County Community Foundation) with our board serving as a subcommittee of the Greene Giving board. All donations go into the Greene County Library Foundation fund or, if directed, can be given to the Imagination Library Endowment. Learn more about Greene Giving.
Message of Thanks from 2025
We celebrate giving at this time of year, and I am grateful to be a part of a community who so generously pays forward its blessings to others. We celebrate you this Holiday Season at the Greene County Public Library Foundation. Your gifts put the tools in our hands; your care puts the smile in our hearts as we tackle this challenging and rewarding work one kid at a time. Let’s do it again in 2026!
With our deepest gratitude, I and our team wish you and yours Joy in the Holidays and the New Year.
