About Us

The mission of the Greene County Public Library Foundation is to enhance the Greene County Public Library as a community resource by funding special projects, as well as building an endowment for the continuing support of the library.

The Foundation's purposes are:

  • To secure resources, separate from public funds, to subsidize special Library programs, activities and projects for citizens of all ages.
  • To give donors the means to make a difference in the future of Greene County by nurturing this strong community institution.
  • To seek out and engage private support for the long range benefit of the Greene County Public Library without diminishing the need for strong public funding.
