For over 130 years, Greene County, Ohio residents have enjoyed the educational and cultural benefits of public library service. Today the Greene County Public Library offers access to books, movies, music and more in seven community libraries as well as online at www.greenelibrary.info. Library service is further extended to the homebound as well as to teachers and students in area schools.
Traditionally these services have been financed primarily through prudent use of tax money. But today's explosion of information and technology coupled with current economic conditions make it increasingly difficult to meet the growing information needs of our community.
